Sharing this that came out today in case anyone else needed to hear/feel this:
“I am doing this for me and anyone else’s approval is just cherries. I shouldn’t need approval from anyone else to feel validated or worthy or that what I am doing matters or is important. The validation needs to be entirely internal. And if I can learn this and help teach my kids this at an earlier age, I will have far exceeded at my job and what I’m here to do.”
